How's my first team?

Thank you all for the help. Here's what I've been able to put together. D is good up the middle, buy bad in the corners. Walker and Wynne will platoon in CF. Lots of power with a little speed on the basepaths, but much less than I prefer for ATG. Pitching is my big concern, can this rotation hack it in Fulton County? Sutton, Carman, Sanderson, Cowley and Flanagan.

Tony Fernandez is way overpriced - he was hitting about .220 through 50 games for me when I ditched him. Anyone have success with him?

I'd think about dropping him for a cheaper SS if you can and see if you can get a strong LH bat for that lineup. If your opponents wise up you'll see a steady dose of 5R and more righthanders.

I think all the SS in 1986 are over priced. The one thing about Fernadez is he can not get hurt so you do not need to spend any money on a back up! And he is doing very well for me in one league. Batting over .300 with several stolen bases! But all the SS are over priced. Julio Franco is not a bad option. Dicky Schofield will hit about .188 for you, but his D is solid!

I agree ... Franco is the best option, unless you want to go all the way down to Templeton or Thon and free up the big bucks for elsewhere.
