Wally Joyner or Eddie Murray?

The reason I ask is when the team was drafted I wanted Murray, but somebody else got him. So they gave me Joyner instead, but recently Murray was released.
Joyner has done well against righties, but really struggled against lefties.
He is 2nd on my team in HR and RBI after 33 games.
Also I play in Shea Stadium, not sure if that would make a difference or not.
So should I pick up Murray, or get somebody at 1b to hit against lefties?

Murray is somewhat of an injury risk! That is just my two cents. However Garvey murders lefties and is only a little more than a million dollars!

Is Garvey a better option than Ray Knight against lefties?

Ray Knight is probably the better option!

Ray Knight is a 4e11 vs a Garvey's 2e8 at 1st base. Knight plays 3rd base as well, if you need that. Knight costs about twice as much. In a $60M or $80M league, I doubt you will face enough lefties to make Knight pay off. So, unless he has value to you at 3b, even with a 2 injury rating I would say the extra $$$ would be better spent elsewhere. I also hate having Knight's 1-8 running plugging up the basepaths

That being said, if cost is no option, Knight has a slight advantage.
