Well, I'm not close to be being an expert, but since you asked...You don't need 5 (*) pitchers. I don't know who is left in FA, but you could drop 2 of them and get a better quality (*) pitcher. If I had your money...I'd definitely look starting pitching first and then add offense. Then again...I'm no expert. Someone here will help you out.
I like what i see.

I really like your roster. Not too many teams will be able to run on your catchers and pitchers except Ojeda. You don't need 5 *sp. Get rid of one and spend your cap money to improve somewhere else.
Glen Davis is pricey for such a below average fielder. Sell him for a defensive upgrade who can hit if there is such a player available. You have defensive 1's at the key positions (cf,ss) so keep it that way. Canseco has put up huge #'s for me and is pretty cheap. Good Luck

You have a lot of unspent money.
You seem to have gutted your rotation.
'86 has a lot of good pitchers, Terrell + Moore + Gross may have a lot tough match-ups given all 3 of those guys have WHIP over 1.35.
2nd rule of strat: WHIP before ERA (see I can read)

This is a pretty decent team, but with some flaws.
1. You need a backup for Reynolds at 2B. Dump Nixon to get that backup.
2. Canseco and Evans are 3-game INJ risks, which is pretty small, but you should still have two backup OF, so I would exchange Orta (who will NEVER EVER field) for that 5th OF.
3. You have $6.5 mil left to spend. Put it ALL into your starting pitching. Terrell, Moore, and Gross will give up probably a combined near 100 HRs over the course of a full season. They are not going to be very effective in your park.
4. Honeycutt cannot start on three days rest.
Dump Honeycutt, Terrell, Moore, and Gross, add your $6.54 for a total of $16.06 and get three better SP*. That's an excellent $5.35 average per pitcher. Plenty to improve that staff.

Hey there...
I wonder if you understand this differentiation, so I am explaining it:
SP* vs. non-* SP.
A starting pitcher with the asterisk symbol (*) can pitch on three days rest. All other starting pitchers can only start on at least four days rest.
This is the difference between having a 4- or 5-man rotation.
Currently, with your starting pitching, your top two guys can pitch every fourth day, while your 3 and 4 guys cannot. And then you have two really mediocre SP* as fillers or 5th starter?
Since I think you might find two SP* to be your 3rd and 4th starters, I though I would explain.

Is this a DH or non DH league? What is your rotation? I foging with Ojeda, Rasmusen, Eck, and Mahler than none of them can miss a start as they are all * pitchers with 200+ innings pitched. Are Young and Carman in the bullpen? You need more power hitters for your park as Wrigle homeunrs are 14 You don't need 12 pitchers. Don't be thrilled with White being a 1 in the OF he is a 0 arm and a e 20.
If a batter has 600 - 679 at bats plus walks and a injury on the card he can get inued for 3 games max every time injury roll occurs. If he has 680+ he can only get injuured for the rest of the game. Griffin, and Murphy have 0 injury rolls so your set at SS abd CF, Both of your 2nd basemen can go down for 15 games.
