9 games left, playoff teams are set.

i currently own best record in league. 2nd best record is in second place in my division 1 gb.

i have brett, molitor, strawberry, lance parrish. and otis nixon (100+ sb) i would like to have them healthy for the playoffs.

I play in wrigley, though i have alot of double hitters and speed. my record is better on road than at home.

the playoff teams parks are olympic, cleveland and oakland.

so i am resting my injury prone players the last 9 games; is there something i am missing about having best record?

Injury risk goes like this .

680+ no injury at all
600-679 = 3 games tops
599 and under possible 15 games .

Based upon plate appearances ( at bats + walks ) for SOM .

Winning with the best record gives you home field advantage throughout the playoffs . If you can put away the 2nd place team after tonight then rest the big guns for the playoffs .
