Integrating 1969

Postby JOHNEIGENAUER » Sun Oct 05, 2008 8:14 am

What would it take to get TSN to integrate SOM 1969 into the SOM interface so that one could:

1. View the player set from the front page (as in ATG)
2. See leagues forming (as in ATG, 2007, 1986, etc.)
3. See a complete set of stats (3B, GS, CG, etc. as in ATG)

Thanks

John, It will never happen. Too much effort for TSN especially for as few leagues that 1969 has going on any more.

Here is one thing you asked for however. Below is the link to see leagues forming in 1969.

Stats

Randy:

Thanks for the link.

It just doesn't seem like a big deal to DISPLAY certain stats -- that's a checkbox in the database software.

Who would be in charge of that?

Hi John,

Write to Bernie Hu or the strat-o-matic help desk. The help desk guys have usually responded to me within 24 hours on a various number of subjects.

Spirit of 69

I like the 69 game a lot. Probably because I was 17 at the time. There are a lot of cheap players that perform well, and if you don't know who they are you're in deep trouble. If you don't draft right, the first time, you have to watch waivers like a hawk to pick up any good players that might come on the market. There's also a feeding frenzy at waivers time, when players come back on the market. Reminds me of ATGI days.
