I need some able bodied ladies and gentlemen to help extract records for the initial seasons of the 1969 game. Reward, a discount code which can be used in any game.

Previous helpers are encouraged to reapply.

Send private mail to me if interested.

This is a time consuming process, don't apply unless you are willing to spend the time and do it right. Full instructions will be provided along with url links to 10-20 different 1969 (early first, second, third week of leagues).

Thanks

Moose (keeper of the records)

Moose,

How time consuming is "time consuming?" 1 hour per day? If a reasonably capable guy who's been a baseball fan all his life can do the job in that amount of time, sign me up!

I would say it would be a little more than that. Look first at what records are kept in the other games, the 2005, ATG2 and the 80's game. Hiting, Pitching, and Team records specifically. Then imagine looking through the statistics section of at least 10-20 different leagues in order to find the top 5 from those leagues. Then looking over each team in the league to extract team records from them and then look and see if there are any RP's that make the list for wins, a category that I keep that is not so cut and dried.

Most people that I have given this task to have carried it out, some better than others, but all have said they had no idea what it took to build the records list the first time.

It's a tedious task, but for the stats nuts out there they took some satisfaction in being a part of a greater whole and wound up more closely checking their own teams for records on down the line.

That, and getting a discount on new team setups, a benefit that TSN gives me to help out.

MM

:)
