Rookie question: Will I be able to see the probable starters for my opponents once the season starts? (So you can match up starters and stuff.)

Sidd Finch or Grandma Moses -- or somewhere in between -- be nice to know, y'know?

Yes - you will see the probable starters for each series.

The only exception is "opening night" - you will not see the probable starters for that first series of the year. Just set your lineups versus RHP and LHP...

Good luck - the 1969 game is fun.

Another rookie question -- is there an All-Star game? Barring that, is there a three-day 'break' for pitchers?

"NO" on both questions.

SOM 'Face-to-Face'

Postby MATTHEWWALKER » Mon Dec 01, 2008 3:26 pm

Is there facility (website, whatever) for playing SOM 'face-to-face' online -- y'know, live? I'd enjoy that -- this is fun (despite my team's record) -- but it's more of a general manager / quasi-manager game. I'd like to try it again, but I'd especially enjoy the in-game experience of managing.
