Leads my team into the playoffs. Check out the year he had.

Reggie also helped.

I am the WC team, second best record in the league so hopefully I can keep the curse of the WC team going. :D

Forget Marichal...Your MVP is Granger.

His MVP was Reggie not Grainger. Grainger was the biggest surprise however.

6 in 1 hand, half dozen in the other.

If I'm paying $12 million, I expect #'s like that. @ $1.25 and a R3, I'm looking for a RP to eat up some innings, not save 41 games.

Can they co-share it at least?

Based on stats alone Reggie is the MVP. Based on value for the buck then Grainger is the MVP. It all depends on how you look at it.

Did you notice the rest of your squad was sub 500 without Marichal? If anyone gets the MVP it should be him. Kinda like Guidry in 78. I'm a Sox fan and I thought Guidry deserved it over Rice.

In the league McCovey won MVP with Reggie finishing second, Marichal won the CY Young. My vote for team MVP went to Marichal my first 1969 free agent pick up and without him would not have made the playoffs.

In the Semis split the 1st two games as expected but lost game 1. Just won games three and four last night so now on to the finals which finds Ferandez missing the first four games due to injury. Maybe it was shock from stealing 3 bases.

Won games 1 and 2 of the finals on the road. Would love to log in tomorrow and see the word CHAMPS after my team name.

Split games 3 and 4 so game 5 was last night.

Sacramento 69ers CHAMPS

My ace went the distance in game 5. He was my first Free Agent pickup of
the 1969 cards. Was also my first 1969 team.

Juan Marichal allowed Ginger Lynn to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete
game
at Jarry Park where the Sacramento 69ers beat the Windy City Goats 7 to
2.

Good thing I did win as Reggie went down for 3 games durning game 5.
