1969 OFET LEAGUE - Loaded and rolling!

This is the sign-up for the fourth round for this league (previously Winter, Spring and Summer of '69). We need one, possibly 2 replacements to join a great group of owners. This round will be the Fall of 1969 - OFET (one from each team) and the rules will be as follows:

1. Cap open for vote - 80M, 100M or 200M (indicate preference when signing up)
2. NO DH
3. Draft will be via somdraft.com and will consist of 26 rounds - draft order will be randomized. Each team will therefore draft 25 players (thus two players from one franchise) and one unique stadium during the draft.
4. Each team must carry AT LEAST ONE player from EACH of the 24 1969 teams at all times
5. You may carry up to the SOM/TSN maximum number of players on your roster, as long as you have at least one from each team


The first 12 spots will be held for current owners for a few days. Alternates are welcome to sign-up

Do you have to have one from each team in 24 player draft?If not and you expect to pick one up in frenzy in a remaining roster spot and they are all gone from one team (dont know if this has ever happened) what then?Or do you have to pick one from each team during draft and then juggle until league starts in frenzy and then after?I think requirement to have one each from draft and then adjust takes more skill and is better.

Yes, one from each team during the draft. 24 rounds - 24 players (OFET).

We did this draft (OFET) once before and it can be a bit difficult to track. I recommend that you set up an Excel sheet and track/cross off teams as you select one of their players in order to keep it straight for yourself.

If you make an error (selecting two Padres, for example), someone in the league will call you out!!

Also - what is the rule for stadiums? Any stadium? Unique selection with a 25th round?

I assume unique stadium during 25 rd live draft. Most skill and fun to have different.

Wont people add and drop left and right pitchers per series if they have 50 million room?Wont it also screw up yearly statistics taking away from enjoying leaders and cumulative stats and such?Why not freeze teams cap at end of draft to limit maneuvers without penalty and prevent lopsided trades?Cap would be defined after frenzy and add drops as of opening day.

I like everything about this league except the $200 salary cap. For those that know me, I say lower the better.

Would you consider a lower salary cap, such as the normal $80?

I am fine with a different cap - was just trying to mimick the original suggestion in our league mail. Let's vote on 80/100/200 on the sign-up sheet. I will go with the majority.
