Wish this set had more interest

Maybe it's because I am doing very well (so far, knock on wood) with my first 3 teams in this set, or maybe its because I was a teen in the 80's and a big baseball fan, or maybe cause it's the last time my favorite team (the Royals) was any good . . . but I think it's a very fun set to play. I wish there was more interest in this set.

Since I'm not crazy about the 24-team leagues or $100M auto-drafts, later this evening I am going to create your basic no-frills, $80M, DH, waivers, 20% league for 1986. Lets see how long it takes to fill.

I hope to see both of you there!

getowtamypot, I'll give the league some type of MicroLeague inspired name.

I will most likely be there! Wish I still had my Micro League set-up! I didn't have the GM disks or anything like that, just had some great teams from history (and the 55 senators).

I actually found it very hard to put my team together for this set-
my team is not floundering as much as I thought it would- so Im keeping an open mind about playing it again.

Salt

I noticed that in a 24 team draft everyone had a boatload of money left over. I had $16 million and I was on the low side. Several were at $28 million and no real players to choose from. I don't think I'll ever do the 24 team league again, although the teams are probably more true to an actual team (with more than a few duds each). Any other thoughts on 24 vs, 12?
