Replay 1969

In this league, we'll replay 1969 with the same teams in the same stadiums in the same divisions.

Salary cap is 94.16 mil (to match the Orioles), no DH. Here's how it will work: at signup, each owner will pick a first and second choice for divisions. At the end of signups, we'll assign each first pick 2 points and each second pick 1 point. The division with the least points will be excluded. Then we run a randomizer to get draft order and you pick a team. For each division there will be 4 teams. For example, let's say the AL East is one of the 3 divisions and owners have already drafted the Orioles, Yankees, Red Sox and Tigers. Then the AL East is filled, and you can't draft the Senators.

Salary Cap
The Orioles are set - no free agent picks for the O's. This means that Frank Bertania, Tom Phoebus, etc. stay on the Orioles. Everyone else gets up to 8 free agent picks up to a total salary of 94.16 mil. For example, let's say you drafted the Pirates (team salary 76.14), then you have 18.02 mil to spend on free agents. You cannot increase this amount by cutting players. For example, cutting Jose Pagan (salary 2.00 mil) does not change your free agent budget, you still only get 18.02 mil.

Free Agent Draft
The free agent draft will be on the message board, serpentine, in reverse order of team salary. The first two rounds are limited to free agents from your division; for example, if you are in the NL West and the Reds, Giants, Astros and Dodgers have been drafted, then you can only select free agents from the Braves and Padres. The next 6 rounds are open to any available free agent.

No scam starters
Any player that had fewer than 100 AB cannot be in a starting lineup. This means Held and Hicks cannot be in a regular starting lineup, but they can pinch hit and they can be in a starting lineup to replace an injured starter.

Trading is freely allowed and can increase your team salary up to 100 mil. Free agent moves are allowed but you can only have a maximum of 8 free agents on your roster and your free agents cannot exceed your free agent budget.
