MVP - Alex Rodriguez
First time I've ever had him in 06 ... might not be the last if this is what he can do!
CY Young - Jason Vargas
Led staffin ERA/WHIP & (least) HR Allowed, and 2nd overall in Wins & K's.
Rolaids Relief - Vinnie Chulk
Not very often that a specialist gets this award from me, but a 4-0 record with a 2.15/1.02 stat line in 77 IP means he deserves it.
Pleasant Surprise - Prince Fielder / Erubiel Durazo
My cheap DH platoon combined for 27 HR & 111 RBI ... talk about effective production!
Disappointment - Pat Burrell
Both Burrell & Ensberg were disappointing, but at least Ensberg contributed with Runs, HR & RBI. Burrell only led in one category - Strikeouts :roll: and his OBP/SLG were a lot less than I'd expected in a park like Rogers Centre.
Well I didnt win the league - but I did prove it is possible to win 96 games with 3's at 2B. :wink:
