Only 1 team really out of the playoff picture ... but 2 more (including mine) need to step it up if they want to stay in the hunt!

Once again congratulations to goffchile on being the 36 team champion! Kudos to cristano for a strong effort. Thanks to all who participated & hope we can do this again in the future! :)

[b:43220e74c0]Team Awards Season I:[/b:43220e74c0]

MVP - Babe Ruth

This team really did not have much in the way of overwhelming offense, and the league as a whole seemed to be more pitching friendly. so Babe Ruths production, although not spectacular, was still key to our success.

CY Young - Tom Zachary

Very solid at home, and even better on the road! Led team in Wins, ERA, K's and was 1 point from WHIP.

Rolaids Relief - Archie McKain

51 saves more than compensates for 10 BS.

Surprise Performance - Scott McGregor

Very strong performance from my #2 SP.

Disappointing Performance - Herzog/Collins

Although neither was awful, was expecting somewhat more from both.

Playoffs MVP - Archie McKain

Some solid offensive production from several of my bats, but McKains 6 saves & 9 2/3rd shutout innings give him the MVP nod.

Playoffs CY Young - Sid Fernandez

He won both his starts against cristanos squad, including a critical performance in Game VII

Playoffs Rolaids - Doug Bair

2 wins & a save at some key times.

[b:8105ef68e2]Team Awards Season II:[/b:8105ef68e2]

MVP - Babe Ruth

Once again Babe wins this award - thanks to his dominating so many stat categories - Runs, HR, RBI, OBP & SLG.

CY Young - Sid Fernandez

All of my staff pitched very welll. Sid 'the Kid' gets the nod because of his Ks.

Rolaids Relief - Archie McKain

Less saves, but less BS as well - and was the best RP of an average to mediocre crew.

Surprise Performance - Paul Splittorff

Very solid at home. Didnt pitch too badly on the road for the price tag either!

Disapppointing Performance - Buck Herzog

A .296 OBP is simply NOT acceptable. I'd have canned his *** in a heartbeat if I had anyone to replace him with. :x
