I am definitely glad to be at 7-5, especially since Clark has only played in 3 games and has been very uneffective in those games. He'll be back for the 3rd game tonight - hopefully he'll be ready to start producing! :)

Wow! There certainly were a lot of sweeps last night. 10 of the 12 teams were involved in sweeps. I don't think I've seen more than 4 sweeps before on any given night.

On another note - I've seen 93% RH Pitching so far ... guess that is in part due to the fact that I have 3 bats that like to smash LH Pitching in Carter, Dawson, Valentine.

Cromartie hit 6 HR in the first 20 games, and none since ... but Clark is starting to wake up, so thats a good sign. My bullpen is getting a lot of work ... having pitched 38% of the innings ... not sure what the normal average is, but I would assume 30-33%?

I am trying to figure out how I am 22-14 when I have a team era of 4.33/1.51 and a OBP/SLG of .328/.385. I am definitely going to need Carter, Dawson & Clark to step it up a little more before the smoke & mirrors routine stops! Eventually my opponents are going to realize they are actually getting on base at a good clip and start scoring in bunches! :shock:

Season is now 1/4 over ... and smoke & mirrors still seems to be working. ERA/WHIP has improved to 4.10/1.49 but OBP & SLG have gotten worse.

My team has been winning in spite of Jack Clark, not because of him ... so while I am not happy he is gone for another 15 gamer :x ... at least the rest of my squad is used to him not being useful. :P

Well Clark, Carter & Dawson are all starting to contribute - and as a result my team is 12 games above .500 just past the half-way point. :)
