Sincere apologies to everyone for today's delay...

My last post (Friday around midnight) indicated that I'd have a bunch of proxies loaded... which I started to do Friday night and was to finish on Saturday morning before heading out of town.

On Saturday morning, I could only get to a limited set of internet sites... e.g. I could reach google and usa mail but not CNN, ESPN, weather channel or TSN and the draft site. It must have been something with Comcast's internet backbone or addressing stuff, cause I had connectivity, but only to some sites.

It was still not working by the time I left late morning Saturday... and worse than not getting additional proxies loaded, I also couldn't get to the boards to let folks know and/or grab Dennis's cell phone number from PM.

On Saturday 4-5 rounds of my proxies fired (those that I entered Friday night, but when it got to round 15, of course it stalled. I was going to load a very deep list of proxies round by round to ensure they would not "run out"... I just did not get the chance to go online to do that :(

I was actually hoping I'd get a call from dspeters (I'd given him my cell)because that was the only way I'd be able to get in touch (since I couldn;t get his cell # from online)... but when that call finally came in, I was actually in a church service for my nephew's Christening, and so of course had the cell phone off in the car.

Combination of errors, but at the end of the day it did result in holding all of you up for the extended period, and for that I apologize. I absolutely DETEST those types of delays, and so I hate more so that I caused it by not having done more preventative what-ifs on possible problems.

Since I am in the east... I have my team finished and so went ahead and took the liberty of creating the league (using the parameters from last league).... hope that is ok with Coach and everyone else... if I shouldn't have done that for some reason, just let me know and I will self-inflict some heavy-duty brow beating for the next several hours :P

I PM'd the password to FB and JW... and sent via leaguemail to JW and orlowek (since I couldn't find orlowek in PM, and 'm not sure which way would be fastest for either of you)...

JW and I have made a trade. Earle Combs comes to dspeters, and I have traded Del Ennis. Somdraft, could not tell the difference between Earle Combs and Coombs.

We have a problem with stadiums. lte must have accidentally loaded league park 34 for his stadia. Budo selected it in the stadium draft. Chops spoke with me about Fulton or Veterans and told me to take the highest single rated of the two, which is fulton. I have sent a help message to strat to see if they can rectify the situation. I know we are in the middle of waivers, we cannot stop the waiver process, I think we have 48 hours before they fire, so I hope there is resolution.

I do not believe we can stop our league and start over, as each team has been purchased, it would create a financial nightmare. Worst case scenario, we have to go with the mistake. Chops is a worthy, fun, and honorable guy, never did anything slight of hand. Honest mistake, hope we can fix it.

I have had a similar problem before. If you send the message through the "contact us" part of "help," Bernie or someone else on the TSN staff will fix the mistake in a reasonable time (I would guess today).

In any case, I think it is safe to continue. At the worst, we'd need to send another request for a fix and they'll make it right before Monday night.
