I can't wait for Monday. With something like 100+ mail messages in the league mail since the draft, and all the add/drop, etc.
I can't even tell how I stack up with everyone. Plus, I'm so used to trying to fit myself within my park and my division-mates' parks, but the divisional matchups, while still important, are not as crucial (60 games instead of 72; 6 per road park instead of 12)...

Hey Palonion, your league has been wacky. The volume of posts in that league are off the charts. I do like the 24 team format because it makes us re-think our strategies. I also like looking at the standings in the morning in my 3 other 24-team leagues that have already started. It looks more like a "REAL" standings board you might see in the paper. also, dozens of players who used to never make it on teams are all in the leagues now.
I actually prefer the 24-team league format. It's just getting 24 guys to sign up each time that will be the trick. The only drawback is that there will be less of a chance to get that "CHAMP" in bold on our teams page as we are battling 23 other teams for a world series. On the flip side, winning a world series in a 24-team format will be a much bigger accomplishment.
