Yeah, it was interesting. This was a more balanced AD league than most I've been in.
My team played better. I think the pitching should be better than it was, but the offense played more true to form. This team needs Lyon and Sanches to be good and they weren't; way too many late leads were blown. Bad luck? Maybe, but still a weakness to the team. Also playing in the toughest division again didn't help it.
San Juan and Dexter made the playoffs which wasn't too surprising given the ratings. Jeep probably should have foudn a way in, but there isn't that big a difference ratings-wise with Mysore. As documented above, Mysore got waaaaay too much out of their pitching than should be expected. Faber is also a surprise to an extent, but that was a very balanced division and they were +17 in one run games. There's a bit of luck in doing that.
I would have liked to have had Hill again instead of Hudson. Getting 27 HRs and a .260 average instead of 12 and 260 would have helped us. I knew he had underperformed in the NLD. That was just ridiculous., .219 and 21.
