Unless I have an incredible final week, it appears that I will be eliminated to continue....BUT.....the show goes on....and with a smile :D or two :D :D ....Here's the rules for the second round....

Good People Tournament Rules

Round #2....
1. 100, DH, waivers, autodraft...(there are 2 Leagues)
2. Stadiums are not unique
3. Managers who advance to Round #3 (FINAL ROUND)... The four playoff managers and the next 2 best records in the league...
4. Tie breakers for the 2 best record teams are first: head to head meeting and then if tied then the second tie breaker is run differential (Runs scored less Runs allowed), then a coin flip if we need an additional tie breaker.....


The Leagues will be determined as follows...

League A...
1. Champion RD #1--Best Season Record of Champions
2. Champion RD #1--3rd Best Season Record of Champions
3. Finalist RD #1--Best Season Record of Finalists
4. Finalist RD #1--3rd Best Record of Finalists
5. Semi-Finalist RD #1--Best Season Record of Semi-Finalists
6. Semi-Finalist RD #1--3rd Best Season Record of Semi-Finalist
7. Semi-Finalist RD #1--5th Best Season Record of Semi-Finalist
8. Semi-Finalist RD #1--7th Best Season Record of Semi Finalist

Next 4 are from the Best Season Records on non playoff teams
9. Best Season Record
10.3rd Best Season Record
11.5th Best Season Record
12.7th Best Season Record

League B...
1. Champion RD #1-- 2nd Best Season Record of Champions
2. Champion RD #1-- 4th Best Season Record of Champions

Round #3 (final round) will be the same format as above for the 2 leagues to determine the participants...

Here's the other info regarding the Good People Tournament

I would like to host a Good People League again for a donation to an organization of MY CHOICE. The charitable organization will receive $10,000.00 and the letter sent to the charity of my choice will include the name of the winner of the tournament.

The incentive to join and participate would be to earn a trip to the next Las Vegas Annual Tournament in 2007.

I will pay for the air fare/room for up to 4 nights in a hotel of my choice to the champion. The runnerup (finalist) would have the air fare paid for by me and the other 2 semifinalists will have the room charge paid for by me for up to 4 nights. Airfare and rooms will be for participate and a guest.

Should you become one of the final 4 managers and cannot attend the Las Vegas tournament then I will allow you to select the charity but I MUST APPROVE. If more than one manager falls into this catagory, then I will put the charities to a vote with rules to be deteremined at a later time. The charity MUST relate to human health or education.

No need to ask any questions regarding charities since it only relates to being a final 4 manager unable to attend the function in Las Vegas....

[/b]As for the date of the Las Vegas Tournament, it will be after mid June 2007. There are many issues to deal with in setting it up this time since we are now into ATG III and the others involved ATG II.

My question is when there are [b:de843ab4ac]three[/b:de843ab4ac] or more teams tied for an advancement slot. In such a case, do you still look at best head-to-head record, or just go straight to run differential?

For example, here is [url=http://fantasygames.sportingnews.com/baseball/stratomatic/atg3/league/standings.html?user_id=4663]Round 1, League 3[/url]. If the season ended today, the four playoff teams would of course advance to the next round. Then, the teams of Biomechanical Man, MajorDeegan, and deepdrive would be tied for the final two spots. Should we look at head-to-head among the three teams, or run differential? If we look at head-to-head among three teams, how do we do it (add up wins and losses against both opponents)?
