Nice to be in another 2002 league - this was my most successful, based on Win % and Playoff appearances, 200x season.

I am pretty happy with what I got in autodraft - basically just need a 2B, and I think I can find a cheap defensive 2B no problem. Looks like an interesting league with a variety of different parks. :)

I have sent two trade proposals and have gotten all one can ask for; Quick responses. In pre waiver trading, that is cool. Great ballpark mix. Best of luck to all.

I'm the Wild side. First time I've played 2002. Any advise? Hope I'm not in over my head.

2002, like 2001, has a lot of good value players, and players in the 6-7m range who perform very well. You probably want to avoid many of the mid range * SP unless they match your ballpark.

I just realized that I forgot to put in any waiver claims.

didn't you have the #1 waiver spot

That's gotta hurt!!

It's ok, I did that in an 03 league when I was traveling, made up for it ok after the fact.

No I think I had the 8th or 9th waiver spot. I got pretty much what I needed post-waivers so hopefully that forgetfulness didnt hurt too much.

And we are underway! :)

I kept thinking about making a move to add Manny Ramirez, but I never really had time this weekend to think of the best way to do so ... hopefully my team as is will do well. :)
