LA-Z-BOY’S LEAGUE XXVII FORMAT
We will use the somdraft site if I can get everyone registered and there is no problem with proxy feature. If there are any problems, we'll revert back to our old method, here.
We will use these revised LA-Z-BOY Rules with the slow draft lasting from eight to ten day period in total. (Slow Draft may be shorten to accommodate Quick Draft) The slow drafting time with No Clock is to accommodate the varied work schedules we have so that the possibility of having to use a clock will be very remote. I'll shorten the slow draft before using a Clock.
League will use the ATG IV Historical Version of SOM Game, Advanced, 100MM CAP, No D/H, Frenzy, 5/10/20 drop rule
We can slow draft rounds beginning 3/27/09 or as soon as draft order is settled before our agreed upon QUICK DRAFT Friday of 4/3/09
We will use Wednesday 3/25/09 Lottery draw to determine Divisions and Thursday 3/26/2009 for Stadium Selection order.
Your Availability will be required on Friday evening, 4/3/09 for the Quick Draft and Frenzy. (About a 5 Hour Commitment)
League Opening Day will be Monday 4/6/09
League Draft will consist of a slow draft starting on Friday 3/27/09 (would like minimum four, max eight rounds) and last until 7:30 PM Eastern Friday 4/3/09 (Night of Quick Draft)
Stadiums will be UNIQUE and Separate pick between slow and Quick Draft (First Round of the Quick Draft or last round of slow draft), with stadium draft order and division assignment determined by a second lottery draw pick with the same state picks, Thursday 1/8/09. Our regular Quick Draft of six rounds will follow with draft resuming with Round (5,7, or 9) Player Draft, and auto draft the remaining 11, 13, or 15 players to fill the roster.
ALL TEAMS will enter the league Friday immediately after Quick Draft 4/3/09.
There will be no clock (see below) until 7:30 p.m. Eastern Friday, 4/3/09, No Quick Draft round will be started after 10:30 PM. Eastern unless by agreement of all managers. A clock is a possibility but chances of having one will be very remote. We haven’t had to use a clock thus far and as long as we look likely to draft four rounds during the slow draft we will not have a clock because of everyone's varying work schedules.
Clock time for the Quick-Pick Draft will be (5) Five Minutes per Selection, If Selection is not made we will move on to next selection. Makeup Pick can be made at anytime, but if same player is selected, that player will go to the manager on the clock; no other decision will be made. Please make pick in the allotted time
When checking–in please make State Lottery Pick if not already made.
State Lottery Picks will be used to determine Draft Position. Highest (999) to Lowest,(000) ZERO being Low. In case of tie the tied state's mid-day or previous day lottery number will be used and so on until the tie is broken, same day picks will always be used.

Trades of players and picks are allowed; Make sure all trades are posted clearly for all managers to read. Please keep value exchanges equitable and reasonable so as to prevent squabbles (See new rule below) and decisions having to be made on allowing the trade. If there is a two for one trade, there will be a pool of players for the manager trading two to use so everyone will protect the same amount of players drafted with the same amount of cash value.

Let make an effort to keep trades at a one for one or within 33% for both sides NO Trades at more than a plus one ratio 3 for 2, 2 for1, 5 for 4, etc.
Any other unbalanced trade the values are to be within 10% of each other (This is to discourage 4 for 2, 5 for3, etc) .
Use this Grid to determine the value of your spot and try and keep values equal. Players will be assigned to fill open roster spots resulting from unbalanced trades.

Due to some manager trips including my own. I would like to propose an extremely Quick Off Season, as always it's my goal to have everyone return.
New Plan:
Start slow drafting March 23rd (somdraft site) proxies would be very helpful in order to draft eight rounds, six would be a more likely target.
