2006 LOTO- The "A" League

Postby cummings2 » Fri Jun 23, 2006 7:28 pm

Just bumping to get on top of those goofy C and D leagues.

Das right...on top of them, above them, beyond their reach...that's where [b:d485da9523]we[/b:d485da9523] belong and where [i:d485da9523]they[/i:d485da9523] belong.

I was thinking the same thing, I went with a small-ball park thinking that I could go against the grain. The problem is, now I'm going against teams that have set there teams up to play my type of game. This is going to be either really good or really bad.

A speech from my faded memory of Top Gun:

Gentlemen, welcome to LOTO A, this is where the top SOMers come, the best of the best...we'll make you better. (Ah, Tom Skeritt playing cool Viper)

-just another way of bumping on top of those goofy B,C, and D LOTO leagues :P .

Very quiet.

Safeco kicked my ass last year. Here's hoping I do a better job there this year. :D

I'm playing in Safeco too, never played there before, and I've just created what I think may be the funkiest looking team I have EVER created!

Dammit!!! Ty has found me...'em loonies over there in C.

"C" what a goofy silly little letter that is...not round enough to be an "O" not curvy enough to be an "S"...not Straight enough to be an "l"..really a C is a letter worthy of worthless mention.

C2

----

Nice of ya to drop by Ty...how did Safeco treat ya in the first get go?

-I got a magnificent job from my pen in the first series. They accumulated an eye poppin 0.0 ERA...that's right. My Pen is perfect so far...not even a hit against my pen. 3 games 0 hits 0 BBs 0 runs...nothing, zilch, zip, nada.

...ahmmm...did I mention my pen wasn't used at all in the first three games? :P

Morning C2,

Odd night lastnight, I have Z. Duke on both tourny teams and he gave up 6 and 7 runs respectively and giving up a total of 5 bombs in his starts! :x

Other than Duke's meltdown my pitching did well just no friggen offense to speak of from my Safeco boys.

My US Cell team is still struggling to find their bats as well but the pitching staff is coming to life and pitching much better with the exception of S. Eyre who is posting an ERA over 5!

Still and all, my hopes are high for both teams.
