Ignore the above message, I was scrolling through leagues and saw my name in this one but forgot this is the one that went ahead without me when I was gone. No problem just let me know when/if someone drops out for the future.

next season

I was looking through the teams, hoping to find a deal, considering "set requirements", when it hit me.
Not that I have found any wrong doing but it would be easier to know the "set years" I'm dealing with. Perhaps next season we could incorporate our set years in the team name. For example, the '46-'54 Posen Tiger.

Thurm, I totally agree. I was thinking the same thing the other day but was too bashful to say anything. I am very shy!!
I had actually tried to do that with my "Sixties Rock!" team name but I think we could go with the specific year spans. Anyway, I like this theme. The league is shockingly balanced! If it stays this way, we will have a lot of fun from season to season. :D :D

If not the range of years, at least have everyone ID the set#, from 1-12... e.g. I called my team the Cherry Hill Chrono 9's, as I am set #9 (1975 thru 1978)... I think it'll also help me to remember which team was in which type of league down the road... when I have about 70-80 ATG 3 teams played :)

Anyone know if we're keeping the salary cap at 80M or moving up to 100M for the next round?

I'm OK with either the $80M or the $100M. The $80Mil is more challenging (especially when I couldn't use guys like Frank Robinson, Clemente, etc.)!!!
However, it makes you really manage your salary and make tougher decisions. I would prefer the 5/10/20 though.

I like the sacrifices you have to make in a 80 mil league but Mantle and Maris in my outfield next season I could be coaxed into another 20 million dollars.

I'd go for either, with the proviso that if it's a $100M cap we should keep the 20% drop penalty. Can't make it too easy on ourselves, can we? I admit I prefer the challenge of the $80M cap, though and agree that if we keep it at $80M we should have 5/10/20 weighted penalty.

My 2nd Chrono team is built and waiting to enter the new league. My '67 to '73 Memories team is ready to go. :D
