A motion was made earlier in the thread to extend the draft by a round or two. More considerated is needed...both comments for that and the draft will take place on this thread.

I'm good with extending the draft 2 or 22 rounds. It's all good. And I am chomping at the bit. I can't wait to see everyone's strategies and who they feel are the worst of the worst. It's going to be a lot of fun.

Mr. Reg & Others: Points well taken. I think we all want to get this going, so I'm taking off the table the 22/25 round live draft idea, but maybe something in a little [b:6d8b7f466d]4 rounder [/b:6d8b7f466d]to be completed by close of business Thursday, then fill the league Friday during the day, frenzy Friday night, play on Monday?

By the way...we won't designate divisions/GMs...that gets too complicated. And I think we got enough complication here just figuring out all who the heck these bad players are.

Again, stadiums do not have to be unique, either. Munich, you may fire (or misfire, to use the parlance) when ready.

Well, I've decided to go for Hitting and defense to start off my Team of Woe. The first pick of the All-time worst League will be---

Demaestri, Joe

I'm a bit worried about his clutch, but his DPs are healthy. And LOVE that defense. Can play 3 positions equally badly, including the key SS and 2B. Only 14 errors at SS but I think he will probably play 2B with the much more attractive 25 errors. Double digit speed, but still only an 11. Many poorer defenders, but I think Mr. Demaestri's (lack of) prowess at the plate counters his lack of errors. Overall, a fine choice.

If we're going to go for a 25 person draft, I suggest we move this to Penn's site.

Crap Tastic selects Paul Zuvella, a solid defensive liability at SS with one hit total on his card. His OBP is a little high for a first round pick, but his other weaknesses should overcome that strength.

Zuvella was a close #1, but that killer OBP, the DOUBLE on his card combined with the "A" bunting and gazelle like 12 speed put me off a bit. :D
