The Waffs have swept 5 series by my count (including against me). The ran an 8-game winning streak at one point. and a 7-game streak too. The Shufflin' Crew won 13 games with one loss interspersed.

Admittedly your Phythag winning percentage is .439, which is higher than the actual percentage .424. The difference is one-half a game. (You should have won 14.5 games and have won only 14 instead.)

But you're right, if your winning percentage were .439 [b:4d436a2879]and you were playing average teams[/color:4d436a2879][/b:4d436a2879], the odds of losing 11 in a row would (I think) be (1-.439)^11 = a very tiny 00.17%[/size:4d436a2879].

I guess one could call one-fifth of one percent "remote." The math when it isn't average teams is too hard for me but I can't imagine it takes it over 1-2%.

I guess you have to ask yourself, WWJTD? Maybe you can acquire A-Rod and bat him 8th.

ps I'm using smileys in all my writing from now on. Do you know how to make flashing text?
