PJs Keeper League

Got me, Abner! :D

Keep 8 this time.

Good luck tonight to our survivors in all those game 5s!

I gotta turn it around, my team has been very predictably sucky so far.

There was a mistake in my earlier post regarding the standings, I had mixed up season 1 and 2. As a result, here is the draft order for the 80m league and the new division alignments (basically, Rob and PJMB swap spots since Rob had the better season 1 record)

Owner - Win totals
[b:9c06b5a975]East-[/b:9c06b5a975]Ed bazo 194
[b:9c06b5a975]Central-[/b:9c06b5a975]dr. x 176
[b:9c06b5a975]West-[/b:9c06b5a975]tkl 170
[b:9c06b5a975]East-[/b:9c06b5a975]Rob55 167
[b:9c06b5a975]Central-[/b:9c06b5a975]PJMB 167
[b:9c06b5a975]West-[/b:9c06b5a975]AceVentura 165
[b:9c06b5a975]East-[/b:9c06b5a975]Abner Doubleday 164
[b:9c06b5a975]Central-[/b:9c06b5a975]Munich Man 162
[b:9c06b5a975]West-[/b:9c06b5a975]Minnie Minoso 155
[b:9c06b5a975]East-[/b:9c06b5a975]PJ Axelsson 151
[b:9c06b5a975]Central-[/b:9c06b5a975]Bobby 144
[b:9c06b5a975]West-[/b:9c06b5a975]Mr.BBW 129

Rob55 wins the tiebreaker with PJMB based on his 84 wins in season 1 vs. PJMB's dismal and disappointing ( ) 78 wins.

Divisions for League #3 (the 80m league) will thus be as follows:

[b:9c06b5a975]East [/b:9c06b5a975]
Ed bazo
Rob55
Abner Doubleday
PJ Axelsson

[b:9c06b5a975]Central[/b:9c06b5a975]
dr. x
PJMB
Munich Man
Bobby

[b:9c06b5a975]West [/b:9c06b5a975]
tkl
AceVentura
Minnie Minoso
Mr.BBW

[quote:a0a79e8555]Ossie Bluege is trying to get to a minimum ratio of 1 RBI for every $10K it cost to have him. So far he has 75 RBI's vs. a cost of $820K. With 24 games left to the season, he only needs 7 more RBI's. [/quote:a0a79e8555]

Congrats to you and Ossie, by the way, Abner, and my condolences on your Cardinals.

I once had Ossie put up some big numbers in ATG I. As far as 50 games into the season he was in the top 10 in rbi.

Wasn't there a rule somewhere that said if you wanted to change stadiums you had to forfeit one of you carryover picks?

Yes there was. Originally, it was this:

[quote:3f8411b6da]We will have unique ballparks that will be drafted prior to the first season and will remain with the team throughout the course of the 5 seasons. Each owner will be allowed to change their park at the cost of 2m. However, they must then select a new park that is not already in use. Once we reach the 100m cap, no stadium changes will be allowed. [/quote:3f8411b6da]

Since we are no longer using cap percentages as the keeper allotment, I think one keeper player is an appropriate cost to change stadiums.

Thanks PJ and as I have been relegated to saying for the past 23 years, wait till next year! On the bright side (at least according to my wife  ) I did not have to cough up crazy money for World Series tickets this year.

Oh and Ossie Bluege ended up with 88 RBI's, so he met the benchmark of 82 management had set for him. :D
