Just to be sure I understand the drafting rules - we select a team based on the list. We can only draft players from that team (unless you need additional players, in which case you are permitted to draft any .50 player except from teams in the draft). Are we allowed to trade with other teams?

No trading. The team you draft is your team.
The .50centers are to be used as subs and only taken if no other sub is available for a particular position or if you don't have the required 10pitchers and 13 fielders.
If you have no one to play a particular position, you can use a sub 1mil.
These players can come from any undrafted team.

I sent him a league mail.
Don't have an e-mail address and PTs on these boards don't hook up to e-mail like the others did.
He said he would be back on Monday and would be checking in.
I have a proxy, but he since he said he would be back, I am redicent to use it.
