Could they please send him a message in Leaguemail so he can simply pick his team? In the future, I believe people should lose their spot if they take more than a week to make a simple choice like a Ballpark - especially with a high pick...

I have no rules in place already for this, but I believe that if you were a playoff team in round 2 you should be aware that the next round is awaiting and would sipmly check in for 2 minutes to see if people are ready and waiting on you...

And unless AT is riding dogsleds in the Canadian Winter in the wilderness somewhere, he should have some kind of computer access - It is everywhere now...

C'mon AT, this seems to happen in leagues with you often...You are the defending LOTO Champion and I don't want to have to have you pick a stadium at the bottom of the list when you are #2 because the players get restless and impatient...This is absolutely my least favorite part of putting on these tours and why I am considering leaving...Setting them up and inviting players is work, but when things run smoothly - It makes it worth it...Round 2 took 6 weeks because we had to wait for players to pick a state lottery and then choose a Park...And it was a Royal pain in the butt to have to field all those complaints while trying to keep 24 people happy - Totally thankless and time consuming...This is simply a Stadium pick...So get the friggin lead out before I have a coronary! :x :wink: :lol:

First off, thanks for the compliments and confidence. Let me think about it for a couple of days. I've got a lot on my plate, as you know I'm a big Fantasy Baseball guy which takes a lot of time, plus my own leagues I do. Not to mention real life stuff.

I'll let you know soon. Perhaps with a couple of co-Commish's it might work. Any volunteers would be cool.

Doesnt anyone celebrate the holidays any more?? :o

This is my first time logging into the forums since before Christmas because I was busy with the Holidays (which technically last until Jan 6th due to Epiphany imho). You're lucky I checked in to see if I had any PMs because I had figured Round III would not start until after the Round II playoffs had finished (in 3-4 days).

I will have a park selection in the next hour - have not thought about SOM much in the past 2 weeks so I can barely recall what the 07 parks are, much less which ones I've already used.

On an interesting note - what I find most interesting is when people celebrate Christmas (those that do that is) ... many celebrate it on Christmas Eve, although most still do so on Christmas Day, but plenty celebrate it on New Years Eve or Day or Epiphany (which is the day Jesus got this gifts from the 3 Wise Men I believe) including some in my extended family.

Anyways I am a little sorry about any delay - but I had no reason to expect Round III to start so soon and I was involved with the Holidays. :)

When I lived in Germany they celebrate Weihnachten which is in very early December. Although I think they also celebrate Christmas, Weihnachten is the big deal there.

As far as I can tell I have not used AT&T in 2007, and definitely not in LOTO (Kauffman & RFK were my parks) and it is not on anyones list as #1 so AT&T it is.

Now I am going to be upfront and state I can have a team ready by Saturday evening but any earlier is not feasible due to my schedule on Friday.
