Two teams in so far. Vis and Jack left to finish the East.

Kev...

You waiting on that check is as futile as leaving the front porch light on for Jimmy Hoffa to return.

If Jimmy Hoffa shows up at my door with a check from Frank for $24.95, I will go ahead and draft all sub-$1M players. I promise!!! :D

OK league....lets hurry up. I have to leave town Thursday morning and not be back until the following Monday. We would have to move fast! Either way, I think I'm screwed....as I will probably miss the post-waivers freny....and may miss waivers! Yikes!

Jack, sorry I was pushing. Yes it was indeed Mother's Day yesterday, my fault. Now if Vis's MIL will let him have some time...

Truly sorry guys... :)

Busy weekend at the visick house. Lots of drama.

On a side note...Some of you may know that my father-in-law passed away recently. It was my wife's step dad as her biological dad passed away when she was about 10.

So my mother-in-law brought with her a number of his belongings, to see if we wanted anything. He was an engineer for Ford Aerospace for 30+ years.

I thought I would share this with you guys, as you would probably appreciate it.

I asked for 2 things. The first is the 1st ever Sports Illustrated magazine.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sports_Illustrated

The magazine is in great condition. It's probably got triple the amount of pages as the current magazine.

The second thing is a program from a 1958 Dodgers/Milwaukee Braves game at the LA Coliseum. He was a big Dodger fan. He even kept score of the game. The Braves lineup had Crandall @ C, Frank Torre @ 1B, Schoendienst @2B, Logan @ SS and Matthews @ 3B. The OF was Covington, Bruton and some guy named Aaron in RF. hehehe...

The Dodgers had Roseboro @ C, Hodges @ 1B, Can't remember who was @ 2B or 3B, but Reese was @ SS. The OF was Gilliam, Furillo and the Duke.

I was a kid in a candy store last night :D :D

Field level seats were $3.50 and kids under 10 were $.75.

Cool huh?

Very cool Visick. You wonder how those late 50'S and 60's Braves didn't win more pennants with Aaron, Matthews, Torre, Spahn, Sain, etc, etc.

I have a program from the first game played at the old Atlata-Fulton Co. Stadium, which was a spring training game in March of '66. My dad was at that game, his favorite team was the Yankees, whom the Braves played in that game.

I've got tons of old SI's, but not first edition. Again, very cool.

And on a sidenote, the Central can start loading. 8-)

P.S. Thoughts and prayers for the loss of your wife's step dad.
