I have a feeling you will be dropping 99% after the autodraft. :D

What scares me is the 1% I would actually be keeping from that list!

Okay my North Carolina Tarheels (ACC) are ready to enter the West whenever it gets to us. With my reading difficulty my wife worked overtime getting me all the right lists but I think I have a good and legal team.

Been out of the loop the last few days and may have missed something, but what does this mean?

"Remember also that there are some players who were not assigned. Those cards and THOSE CARDS ONLY are up for grabs in the draft."

Is there a list of these "available" players?

I will have a team in later tonight or tommorrow morning. Thanks.

I dropped Ed Killian

Postby FAaron » Fri Nov 19, 2010 8:19 am

I was advised that the owner of the MAC has a deep, abiding affection for Killian. At first, I thought he was talking about the beer. Then I realized he was talking about the pitcher (without the beer). So I have replaced him with Cal Koonce. Please feel free to PM me if there are any players from your squads which appear below, but which you would like to draft or have available immediately after the draft (before my Grab Bag time begins -- man, that just sounded so wrong  )

F. Marberry - WAS - SP
D. Steib - TOR - SP
D. Hillman - CHI - SP/RP
B. Milliken - BKN - SP
T. Sturdivant - NYY - SP/RP
P. Jarvis - ATL - SP
R. Botting - CAL - RP
D. Danforth - CHW- RP
J. Mooney - STL - RP
C. Koonce - NYM - RP

B. Downing - CAL - C
E. Smith - PIT - C
B. White - STL - 1B
B. Skowron - NYY - 1B
F. Luderus - PHI - 1B
J. Temple - CIN - 2B
D. McAuliffe - DET - 2B
B. Herzog - NYG - 3B
C. Lansford - OAK - 3B
D. Thon - HOU - SS
P. Blair - BLT - CF
D. Sanders - ATL - CF
K. Griffey Sr - CIN - RF
G. Cravath - PHI - OF
T. Conigliaro - BOS - OF

[color=red:24fd80aeda]Each manager has a listing of the teams in his grouping (CHC-db, CHC-pre, etc), a list of players I assigned to that grouping (may have cards for multiple teams or may have been assigned to make groupings more competitve), and a corresponding list of players you MAY NOT include on your draft card. Of course, you dont have to draft the assigned players, and the off-limits players are only off-limits through the draft and the GRAB BAG manager's periiod of exclusivity.
The OTHER players who have cards for mulitple teams but who were NOT ASSIGNED to a particular grouping (Elston Howard comes to mind) are up for grabs in the draft for the managers who have their cards. Hence, with Howard, the Red Sox(IVY LEAGUE) or Yankees could both include him on their draft card, and whoever lists him higher gets him.

make sense?[/color:24fd80aeda]
