Did you have him elsewhere in your proxy list?

You can drop him any time, but I'm not sure that would entitle you to another pick for that slot. It's never happened to me before and if it happened to somebody else I didn't pay enough attention to the resolution.

Just turned the draft clock off for a while to see if we can get this resolved.

I had an existing proxy list and thought I'd expand it in advance of possibly being away from the computer later today; I hit the "proxy" button and lo and behold, he went straight onto the draft board!

I would like to drop, although I don't know how that works either.

You can drop by going to your 'picks' list and pushing the drop button next to the player. What I don't know is if you will be able to pick again for the 1st round, and if so, when that can happen. I've emailed Adrian asking the question.

In a RH pitchers league I did the same thing.

Somehow Eckersley found his way into a roster spot. We need to get him thrown overboard asap and have a re-pick. :D

Is anyone else experiencing really long page loading times with Dope? I've never seen it this slow.

Excellent draft, guys. Looks like we will wrap up today. I'll be out for the whole day and won't be back until this evening. I've left 3 ballpark proxies, and I'll ask for a randomizer for divisions later in the evening.

If we can load quickly tomorrow then maybe we can start Monday?
