Wow! Having the first overall pick stunned me, but I've recovered in time to select a player, so we're underway!

In the last series of Random leagues we were able to draft briskly each day and avoided using the draft clock. If a player was going to be off the grid for a while, he would let everybody know by posting a message on the league thread and would do his best to line up proxies to cover his absence.

Let's see if we can stay with that tradition, so please keep in touch and use proxies as much as possible so we can cruise through the draft.

Dunno why... my BS team is in (inspired by one of my Random teams, actually... I knew playing a ton of Random would help in BS).

I'm back and we're moving again. Now that the draft has started, I can use proxies. That wasn't an option this morning.

And if Harry hadn't started off with a weasel pick, I wouldn't have had to think a while before selecting this player. :P

I pick 11th, had 2 guys on my proxy list Lajoie and Speaker - the 9th and 10th picks - gonna be a long draft - lol
