So........after the initial drafting of players, is there the normal waiver period and or free agent period where it's evident that the multiple card/multiple franchise (or era) is available?

And during the initial drafting, if your prospective player is not available because he was selected earlier by a different franchise/era is he blocked out or not able to be selected or do you just have to know that or find out about it later?

Yep. I own Ruth, lock, stock, and barrel. If I decide not to put him on my draft card, then whoever drafts the Red Sox DB pitching staff can use him as a pitcher. (If someone drafted the DB Yankees, they could use his 1920 card, but I doubt that will happen since their next best player is Roger Peckinpaugh.)
