I will be bringing a laptop, but I also have version 10 installed. I'm uncomfortable having version nine slapped on my laptop, but it looks like version nine or bust. It doesn't look like I can add my laptop to the community bunch..although I'd love to help out.

As for helping on how-to do Netplay in general, I enthusiastically sign up for that volunteer duty.

This is a little confusing. I've never owned v9, yet my computer was used in the tournament last year, so it must have been loaded with v9 in Las Vegas. I do remember loading the team disks, and only the players needed for the teams drafted were loaded - not the whole year.

In order for us all to have v9 with a key disk, we'll have to find 6 or 8 key disks. But I don't remember there being multiple key disks there. Maybe there was a workaround? Maybe Penn can weigh in on this?

i think you only need ONE season 9 disk.... the "trick" is you must NOT transfer the code to the machine from the key disk....this means when you first access the game that you need the key disk to get it going ... you don't need the disk in the rest of the time. So each day when the machines are booted up for the first time the key disk needs to be inserted....

IF you screwed up and moved the key to your machine...then we will need at least ONE other key disk

Yes, version 9 is what we have to go with. Rob is right. Technically, we only need 1 key diskette.

For anyone that doesn't have it installed, we can set it up in an entirely different directory. After that you can uninstall it and pretend it was never there.
