Edge was kind enough to make a pre-waivers deal for Barry with me - see if I have any luck with him this go-round, my Barry teams tend to be very good or very bad. Then KD was kind enough to drop Thome, and at 10:01 am I got online and managed to pick him up. I love Hafner, but not as my 1B, and not when I have so many injury-susceptible guys already in my lineup.

AP - 29 teams & only 8 playoffs made, and still talkin' smack? I'm gonna have to treat you like that doll you sent me way back when....make you my bee-yotch once again! 8)

Not a lot a I could about Thome, and if he was to be picked up I was hoping anyone but Qk would do it...but that's life. I just had a couple of holes that needed filling as best as I could and Thome was expendable. At least he's not in my division. :D

Here's hoping my pitching and slap hitters can carry me :wink:

It would be nice if Tejada could keep up his .727 avg :wink:

Was pleased with my squad's first series of the year, the 'O' looked amazing.

I'll try and check in often, currently enjoying things here in So. Fla...temp is 74 at the moment. :)

Lots of LOB, GIDP, blown relief pitching and poor managerial decisions - both by the human and the "artificially unintelligent" manager...

Looks like a looooonnnnnnggggggg season coming on :shock:

J-Pav is just running away and hiding from the rest of the division - looks like we'll all have a struggle to stay close and hope for the wildcard.
