You have probably already received the notification from the SN website that the league is now operational and the season starts Monday!
There is also a notice about free agents, but you must ignore this. Only players you drafted on somdraft are eligible to be prmoted to your roster from the free agent list. (If you don't remember all of your players, you can go to the draft site and click on "Your Picks." Rosters should be arrivng by email soon.)

Is the version 2 bullpen operating now?

That would be so cool!

Roster size question?

Postby PENNYVILLE8 » Fri Jun 12, 2009 6:15 pm

Are we only allowed 25 players on are active roster or can we have more. If I read the rules right it's only 25 correct.

Roster Size

Postby TefJ » Fri Jun 12, 2009 8:22 pm

That is correct, you can only have 25 players on the roster until game 132 has been played. At that point, we have our own version of September callups and you can add 3 more that you may keep on your roster throughout the playoffs.

As for the bullpen logic, I don't think that's been implemented yet, hopefully it will, though I am unsure of the release date. Opening Day is Monday, good luck to everyone.

During the draft I had the experience of watching a player put up unexpected numbers in 2009, and either grabbed them and felt great, if they continue to produce, or I couldn't quite pull the trigger and someone else took them, and I wished I'd gone for it.

I wanted to share my lists of Whew, JUST IN TIME
and Damn JUST MISSED HIM
and hear your lists.

JUST IN TIME

Luke Scott
Edwin Jackson
Jon Broxton
Mark Reynolds
Scott Hairston
Hunter Pence
Craig Counsell (round 40)

JUST MISSED HIM

Aaron Hill
Adam Kennedy
Ryan Zimmerman (who I later got in a trade)
Miguel Tejeda
Hiroki Kuroda
Ryan Franklin
Justin Verlander
Ben Zobrist
Josh Johnson
Matt Cain
Matt Kemp
Ubaldo Jiminez
Scott Baker
Brian Bannister

Opening Day

Postby TefJ » Mon Jun 15, 2009 1:06 pm

Good luck to everyone this season. Today is opening day, and I'm sure we'll all excited for the start of the season.

The Gondotropin Gondolas would like to announce a few hirings and events planned:

Angel Presinal and Brian McNamee have been hired as trainers. Rafael Palmeiro is the hitting coach, Roger Clemens the pitching coach.

Alex Sanchez, the first player to be suspended under the new drug policy, will be on hand to throw out the ceremonial first pitch in our home opener Tuesday night at the Cell.

Don't miss Masteron Mondays, where the first 10,000 fans receive a one-cycle supply for free...
