i'll be gone from about 1:00 eastern today until about 8:00am monday ... i've got proxies for about 7 or 8 rounds ... although i doubt that they'll last more than 2 rounds ... i will probably (but not certainly) be able to check in once a day to do some updating ...

if i can keep the draft going via proxies on nights and weekends, i would think it would be just as easy for others to keep it going on weekdays via proxies ... but it somehow never happens ... :cry:

I think proxies in general are going to be hard in this draft. I leave for a half hour and my proxies go from 7 to 2 in five picks; everybody's gone! I'm sure Meat's proxies are history....

I suspect this will be a slow-going draft....If that's the way it is, so be it, Colonel. I won't stress.

My cell phone number should still be on the PTs on the old board for people....

I still don't know how this new board works in a lot of ways. Where's the search?

Never thought I'd take a player with a 3 injury roll this quickly, but there's not a lot out there. For what it's worth, I had Row(l)and in the Iron Skillet, and he had a big OBP of .287. Did hit 37 homers, but his total OPS was 146 points below his real-life 2004 numbers. (Of course, Konerko was 150 points below, so I may not have helped myself there, either.)
