Just to clarify, I need one more hitter to make my roster legal. I can take any hitter from an undrafted team when I fill out my card, as long as that hitter's salary is $1.5m or less, correct? (I have $4.47m left before I reach the $100m cap).

here's a question for all of you.....


Can I draft a player in this ind. player draft with a value below 1.5M and then choose my 3rd over 1.5M when I get to the autodraft. In other words, do I have to choose my 3 "over 1.5M" guys here in this draft?

Your allowed to change your draft pick after the autodraft - so if u draft a sub-1.5 mil player then a change would be to your multi-mil player.
So would think it would be ok

no I mean...can I draft a sub 1.5 now and put a 5M on my autodraft card as my 3rd over 1.5M guy. Basically it would guarantee that I get the sub 1.5 guy I want. As I think about it, it seems a little underhanded so I'll just pick the 5M guy in this draft and hope I get the sub 1.5M guys I want.

Mmmmm . . . my assumption was that the three rounds were for your big three, and the rest were in the autodraft. If that isn't the case, it may change my strategy (although I haven't picked yet). And it may impact people that have picked already.

If you have 4 or more positions to fill, the players just under 1.5 will have some value, and may be worth taking in the 3 round draft, if you aren't too picky about your player over 1.5.

Paul, I just read your post, and I agree we should probably stick to the big guys in this part of the draft.
