A couple of people have suggested having a trophy that goes to the league champion each year. Has anyone been in a league where this was done? Or have thoughts on how to go about it? I guess we would all have to agree to chip in a few $$...

Hey Bill,
I see you have 26 men on the active roster.
I thought we could only have 25?
Please explain the rule if we can exceed 25 at this time.

Jay, you know I would never try to put anything past you. You're too smart for that. I had Mike Napoli injured and the rule (under "Rosters")allows you to add players to replace injured guys:
[i:ca04a1f784]3) In the event of injuries, it is not necessary to release the injured player. A replacement may be called up for the duration of the injury, but he, or another player, must be returned to the minors (Free Agent) before the next series. (Managers are responsible for doing this on the honor system.) [/i:ca04a1f784]
(This is a good rule because, if you send the injured player down late in the season, you won't be able to re-call him after game 142. That's built into the game and there's nothing anyone can do. It happened to me in another league and I ended up not having two good players for the playoffs.)
Now that Napoli is healthy, I released Guerrero going into our big series tonight.
But thanks for bringing it up so if anyone was unaware of the rule, they know now.
