OK, I'm going to take some risks here. I have a fear that will be seen as "flamey" when that is not my intention. I simply don't get that worked up about Strat, there are too many more important things in life. So I don't have a lot of emotional charge about this.

I think when there is too long of a delay between actions, like drafting and loading a league, that people lose focus, they stop checking the board, and the amount of time needed to get started can multiply, making the league way less satisfying for me and I think others. This has happened here and has been frustrating.
Right now, I think we need a clear decision about whether we are loading the way we had started or reversing the load, and we need someone to communicate that with the whole league, probably with PM's since folks may not be checking the board frequently at this point.
I also would like to hear from Cubs 48 about his needs, when can we load that works for him, especially since he has been a very active member. I don't think midnight tonight is doable. So when in the future would work for you, Cubs?
Arryl, I don't think it works for a league commish to check in as infrequently as you do (again, note, this is said without any anger or judgment) I would either like you to check in twice a day til we fill, and do the communication necessary to get us moving or hand over the commish duties to someone who checks in frequently, probably me or CaTom. (I would have added Cubs 48, but it sounds like he has something coming up that will put him out of touch.)
If you disagree with that I will accept it, I would just like to get this moving.

I agree with litangel. Between the participants and commish, it's a balance. And there is a momentum that ought be attended to.

After our very short, but cool draft, the guys in other divisions are chomping at the bit to get in. Probably ought to reset expectations if you're looking for a Monday start. Still, we'll be fine if we can get momentum going again.

ArrylIT, for the other guys, how about an estimate as to when you might get in?

I was in the East but removed my team based on ATs original set-up. And I to agree that the excitement gets lost when it takes too long to draft or load teams. But I am already to go with whatver direction we are going.

I agree with litangel completely......lets just figure out whats going on and get to it...I STILL have hopes we COULD fill tonight BUT we haven't heard from alot of the managers. All we need is a little focus, and knowing whats going on (and when) - I think its the constant checking without movement that drives people crazy...that being said - I to am willing to start next week, if thats what it takes to get this thing going.........I do think the draft was finished quick enuf to be loaded by now (the LAST pick was made MONDAY 6/15 at 23:12)....Tom.

Sorry guys but I will be unable to participate in this league after Sunday which is why I was pushing to get this thing loaded by today.My bad,I guess for assuming that signing up as the last person in this league on June 7,2009 we would be able to hold a simple 4 round draft and have the league loaded by June 19th.Again sorry for the inconvenience but the organization of this league just didn't happen....I hope you can find someone else to take my place quickly and you can understand what my situation is..... :(
