blackjack57, I was certainly not AWOL, just engaged in life while awaiting Terry's return. Glad he made it back, though his choice certainly took someone many of us coveted off the board. :?

I understand, wasn't trying to hurry you and you did make your pick in a timely fashion. Just a little frustrated by the pace of the draft. I took yesterday off to go to my daughter's k-garten graduation so have a three day weekend. Was hoping to make a bunch of picks at least yesterday & today, but it's not happening.

It is nice to have all this time to think about my picks so I can consider, re-consider, re-re-consider, and then draft the wrong guy.

yes, the pace is annoying.

I saw/see JoeKendall's name at the top of the page under "users browsing this forum" so I know he's been on here during the past 1/2 hour. Hopefully his pick will be coming soon.

BTW, it's nice that you gave Terry extra time to make his pick but I think he's used up his mulligans. Of course when I'm late with a pick everybody can flame me.

What are people's thoughts on a clock on the weekend and/or a shorter clock during the week?

proxies are inevitably going to happen it's just a matter of when. right now roscodog is the only one that has sent any in, but as the draft goes on (especially the later rounds) people's interest wanes and thus proxies are needed.

a shorter clock (or one on the weekend) could help with this.

Ouch my draft card just took a hit with the last few picks. Wanted Bruce, but Stanton was my #2.
