Just a flyer question...

Is anyone in our LV bunch also going to the SABR convention the next week in Seattle? I've never been to one, am not a SABR member or necessarily a kool-aid drinker of Sabermetrics, but am considering attendance.

I'd love to hear from anyone with knowledge of these SABR shindigs...are they worth a visit?

Hack Wilson would be the man to ask about the SABR convention. I don't think he's going to the one this year, but I know he's been to one in the past.

I've only heard from rjoh about lineups and team names. Surely, that has had an effect on the results as I have run three full seasons of games--162 games each season, 15 home and aways with each team in your division, and one 3 game home and away with every other team. HAL set your lineups and managed your team.

Here are the team winning percentages:
rube 0.570
danielz 0.568
rjoh 0.543
aceventura 0.539
adrian 0.539
hackwilson 0.533
treyomo 0.527
tinleysnipers 0.490
frannyzoo 0.477
bobby 0.475
munichman 0.473
ggnringo 0.473
frankbailey 0.473
rob55 0.469
davehall 0.449
mforfun 0.401

This being Vegas, of course, there will be odds and these percentages will be the basis for those odds. Do you want to see if you can change the percentages? Send me your lineups...and your team names.

Don't get discouraged if your winning percentages are low. We will be playing a small number of games compared to this--12 games in the "regular season" and 4 short series. ANYTHING can happen.

Please, please please do not run any more sims! Last time, I came out on top 90% of the time... until the one that counted, where I ended up last.

Next to last, just like last year's tourney. If nothing else I'm consistent! :D

[quote:633dbd2fd2]Everyone, go ahead and email your team names and lineups against lefties and righties. My email is agabriel2000@yahoo.com. [/quote:633dbd2fd2]

I'll try and get this to you this weekend. Would you like starting rotations, any other managerial settings as well, or just lineups?

No card settings. I just want to get lineups. Although, if you want to send a rotation, that's fine too. Since we're doing 100% head-to-head, I thought I could save time by inputting lineups beforehand. Any other settings or decisions will be done in-game.

And I will be running more simulations. Oh, yes, there will be more! BWAAAHAAAHAAA :P

Another mediocre team...what a shocker.

I'll send lineups sometime this weekend.
