and oh by the way...make sure they're from different decades...although you do have the option of looking up the actual birthday of all these dead guys and go that route. so in this mismatch of .50 players, half platoon, half wrong sided hitters and pitchers, let's say you get gehrig or ol pete to try and head this thing all by himself. you'll have him for 38 games, then have to turn him in, actually both of them, not to be touched for the rest of the season, and oh by the way, select a replacement from the same decade or that has the same astrological sign. then ofcourse, there's the pavano rule, so we'll stick you with two more extremely undesireable players, that don't fit anything you're doing, but there's two more rosters spots you have absolutely no say so in. not to mention on draft day, you've got to keep track of where you rank in the 12 and how much that allows you to spend in the early rounds.
GUYS...we've got TWELVE people in this league. Several of these could be entire theme leagues in their own right. In the interest of being extremely clever and outdoing the next guy, I think we've made this so untenable, and so hard for anyone to keep track of who's in compliance and who's not that it JUST WON'T WORK. can some of you PLEASE simplify some of these multi-layered rules and restrictions so we have some hope of figuring it out. personally, I don't think in a league with TWELVE themes, any of them should be allowed to be multi-layered.
