If that was a question for me then the answer would have been a resounding YES!

I almost got him AND Fielder. Oh well.

Utley's numbers at a difficult position were too hard to ignore (even with a 3 at defense) and his errors have gone down.

He keeps getting better vs. LH's and the 45 doubles makes me think he'll have a few more good years ahead of him.

Ironically, he was the LAST of my 4 proxies.

The other 3 were Santana, Beltran and Peavy who went EXACTLY in the 3 picks before me so kudos there as I think they were the best options. ;)
