ATG III Half Squad Keeper Theme Season IV - 80m NO DH

Postby ArrylT » Mon Jul 09, 2007 10:42 pm

Maris has cooled off a little in this past week, as he is now on a pace for "only" 75 HR. Post is doing his best to challenge Maris, increasing his past to about 60 HR!

Maris continues to cool off, his pace dropping to slightly below 70 HR. I remain quite impressed with Wally Post, who is still heading towards 50+ HR. :)

Probably should have spent a little more on my bullpen since I already have 14 blown saves.

We've passed halfway. :) Maris has gone back over a 70HR pace, while Post continues to aim for 50+. :)

In games where neither Maris nor Post have hit a HR my team is 15-22.

In games where either or both have hit a HR my team is 36-17.

Split further:

In games where just Post has hit a HR my team is 12-5.

In games where just Maris has hit a HR my team is 17-8.

In games where both of them have hit HRs my team is 7-4.

I think we have the makings for a co-MVP award... :)

I've updated the tally to include last nights games, and will probably update every night or couple of nights.

Maris in in the running for league MVP, but it looks like Banks or Gehrig will win it this season. For Team MVP we'll just have to wait & see. ;)

There is one guy I have not really mentioned, and that is the guy who bats in between Post & Maris. That is Mattingly, and he actually has the best OPS on my team and has 54 Xtra base hits (Doubles/Triples/HR) compared to 55 for Post & 56 for Maris.
