SIKL 2008 SEASON - CANCELLED!

Just missed our start date! Well, we've got a whole week to set our rosters. I noticed Y. Molina and B. Zito got placed on the wrong teams and there may be others. Just let the other manager know if you have a player that is yours.

I just made some roster moves. Dropped all my speed for power (Roberts, Freel, & Kendall for Uggla, Drew, & Alfonzo).

Monday, July 09, 2007 "SIKL-2 NIGHTLY HIGHLIGHTLY"!

Roger Clemens came through with a solid 7 innings as the Santa Fe 450's beat the Buckner Mousetraps by a score of 1 to 0 on opening night. Mark Teixeira provided all the offense with a solo home run.

Miguel Tejada ripped 3 homeruns and had 6 RBI at Coors Field as the Columbia Coyotes ripped the Barn Burners 2 by a large 11 to 0 margin.

Randy Johnson (2-0) dominated Buckner hitters and allowed only 1 hit and 4 walks in 9 innings lowering his ERA to 1.15 as the Boling Street Dodgers defeated the Buckner Mousetraps by a score of 8 to 0 at Comerica Park.

Albert Pujols provided the fireworks with a two out WALK OFF 3 RUN HOME RUN against Jose Valverde! Pujols cracked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Akin Snakes won in dramatic fashion over the FELTS HALL ALL TOO MUCH by a score of 6 to 5 at Angels Stadium.

The Big Unit makes the highlight again in this young season. Randy Johnson had a strong outing at Comerica Park where the Boling Street Dodgers beat the Chicks Dig The LongBall 1 to 0. Johnson (3-0) allowed no runs in 7 innings on just 2 hits and 1 walk.

Saturday, July 14, 2007 "SIKL-2 NIGHTLY HIGHLIGHTLY"!

The Columbia Coyotes scored three touchdowns and added a two point conversion in a blowout Saturday night in SIKL-2 action. 8 Coyotes scored at least 2 runs, Johan Santana whiffed 12 batters, and Travis Lee connected with a 'big fly' and had 6 RBI as the Barn Burners 2 were badly beaten by the Coyotes 22 to 1!

Sunday, July 15, 2007 "SIKL-2 NIGHTLY HIGHLIGHTLY"!

Six pitchers combined on a shutout as the FELTS HALL ALL TOO MUCH defeated the Sin City Schmegma by the score of 2 to 0 at Shea Stadium. Kenny Rogers(2-1) pitched a solid game. He went 7 and 1/3 innings
surrendering 7 hits and 2 walks lowering his ERA from 5.82 to 4.07.
