2009 NL Only "Wall Street League"

Postby Al Hogg » Sat May 29, 2010 2:17 pm

I'm heading out for the day. It's unlikely I'll be back online until sometime tomorrow.

I've got enough proxies lined up to guarantee I'll get through the next round.

I have been playing horseshoes for the last seven hours and have lost only once and have been drinking plenty of beer and having a great time :D , I come in and see I was able to get a good 3B this late in the draft, maybe things are looking up 8-) . Have proxies set so we will see what happens. SGT D

Meat, you get a WEASEL point.

I was hoping Masset would make it to the next round so I selected a catcher, Paulino. Whoops! Shoulda stuck with Masset. Ay, yi yi! Oh well, there is a lot more pitching available than catchers at this point. But you are still a weasel.

STADIUM COMPLICATION

Postby TomSiebert » Sun May 30, 2010 8:00 am

[b:e752e7eec3]It appears TWO National League Stadiums ARE MISSING on the draft list. [/b:e752e7eec3]

No Citizen's Bank (Phillies) or Dodger Stadium. As a reminder, here are those stadiums' dimensions;

Citizen's Bank Pk '09 9 9 11 14
Dodger Stadium '09 5 5 11 5

Actually, you can lop Citizen's off the list, since I'm taking it. We'll make these replacements from the list, using obvious AL team names, so it's obvious they're replacements:

Citizen's Bank = Angel Stadium
Dodger Stadium = Yankee Stadium

I could've waited to work this out with everybody, but I'm heading out all day, and I don't want to slow down the draft if others have proxies or are going to be able to sneak a look.

I am just happy to lead the Weasel point list from meat's point of view.

Duke, McCutchen, Howard, Minute Maid. Life is pretty good. I as well like my team. Just need some relief pitching one more cheap SP to round out the rotation.

Considering it is the weekend I don't think we are supposed to skip anyone.
