Not about the stadium. More about the players.

For example, if there is someone out there who would have put Hack Simmons instead of Clyde Beck at #4 on their autodraft card because JJ is in Forbes 57 instead of Forbes 08, I'd like to give them an opportunity to do so.

Like I said, I can't see that being a big deal, but I also don't like to assume I can comprehend the strategy and motivation of managers who are more experienced and clearly better than me.

In other words, just because I'm not good enough for JJ's stadium to make a difference on my draft card, doesn't mean that someone else isn't good enough.

Either way, I don't want to wait until Thursday or anything, just later today.

I appreciate the clarifications. Despite the allowance from motherscratcher, I think the best course is for me to go ahead and keep Forbes '09. It's only 1 season and I dont really expect much difference. I'm definitely in learning mode.

Sorry to stir the pot then just go with what I drafted, but really seems the best course from here.

Please confirm about the other question -- do I have to draft Munson 3.8 or can I draft Munson 1.57? It may impact who I can add to the autodraft list.

Once I get that answer, I'll go ahead and submit with Forbes '09.

1. $100mil DH 5/10/20 – Alternate DH/no DH.

2. Player Pool – NeL players ALWAYS eligible

- Players divided into 10 groups based on card year. Last digit determines group
- We will use between 3-5 of the available groups each season (about half of the player pool)
- We will use a randomizer to determine what 3-5 groups are used to draft the first season.
- Each season we will randomly drop 1-2 groups and pick up 1-2 groups.

4. A manager can use a park for 3 seasons before he has to change.

5. Offseason Keepers – We will do a protect 3 players, steal 1 player, protect 4 more players structure.

- We will autodraft (with waivers) to fill out rosters. Everyone places their 8 protected players in the LAST 8 SLOTS on the autodraft card.

- [b:ccd1bbf356]You get to use your keepers no matter what card year they have.[/b:ccd1bbf356]

- You can keep a player for 3 seasons before they must be returned to the free agent pool. This includes traded players.

6. The steal round order will go from worst record to best record with tie-breakers being head to head and then run differential if necessary. You can only have 1 player stolen from your team each season.

7. The first season divisions will be randomed. After that, the 4 playoff teams will be in the East, the 4 (of 8 remaining) teams with the best record in the Central. The 4 worst records in the West. Head to head, then run differential tiebreakers.

8. Let’s try a 10 season commitment, to be extended if it’s working out and everyone wants to keep going.

Every team will declare 3 players to keep and if they are changing stadiums. Then we will proceed with the steal round, followed by 4 more sleepers.

Then we will autodraft.

When we get to the steal round, whoever picks can erase the team they stole from from the list of teams at the bottom. Make sense?

Also: you do not have to play the season with all of your keepers, but they do have to be on your draft card. You cannot drop your keepers until waivers.

I will put my 3 keepers on the list before the playoffs are over or shortly after. Anyone who is ready can declare their first 3 keepers. For anyone who doesn't want to reveal their keepers before others make their picks, they can either PM me or send them to me through the league mail. I will wait until everyone has either declared their keepers or has PM me with them.

Shouldn't the elligible years be made public before the keepers are declared?

Shouldn't the stadium be declared after the keepers are declared?

It says the draft order is by record - wouldn't that be straight W-L record and not playoff teams go last?
