I actually offered up this deal to dan after seeing Jerlins team.I didnt feel like I could compete with him in season 1 but felt that I could be very competitive in season 2 in the "central" division.I just was not completely sold on Zobrist putting up similar numbers on a yearly basis so I offered him a deal for his 2 1st rounders and a backup 2B/3B.It really wouldnt have bothered me one way or the other if he declined so now hopefully I can get lucky with a few prospects and be in contention year in and year out ala the Atlanta Braves :wink:[/quote:0a8c19ea34]

Yikes, I just got the hex put on me!!! Honestly, I am not sure I can actually compete in my park. On the other hand, I'm expecting fun times when visiting some of the smaller parks in the league. Had my pitching staff not been selected specifically with PNC in mind, I would have loved to trade out of it for a hitter's park.

I know I don't have the most formidable lineup of all the teams, but at the same time, as I'm constructing my lineups...I'm having a hard time finding a home for Delgado. He may very well be a PH or maybe start in hitters parks here or there....

The commish will be out of touch for the next 36-48 hours or so. I've got a little seekend trip I'm taking with the family. I should be checking in on Saturday afternoon, but even if I do I won't have acces to my research so a pick likely won't happen if I'm up until Sunday Night.
