good work lads, thought the one disadvantage, beyond being one of the 9-12 teams!, of doing 1-4-7-10 was that you couldn't load until the 10th team picked, 1-4 you could start loading as soon as the first four picked, but now we can finish east and central and once the 12th goes down some time today we should be in. looks like a week from monday for a start. has league been setup, password etc?

that #9 team took ALL day, especially after I went to pick them on penn's sight and realized I had missed a couple of guys, like ken dayley, and kitty kaat, who had already been picked! completely throws off your salary. smushing mantle onto the roster also made things very tight, but figured he'd enjoy his old home of yankee '56. thought about dunn too, but limited the lh power a bit much. at one time had ripken gordon and mantle trying to co-exist but could never quite make the $ fit or have anyone left to hit in front of them. gonna give mcdougald my first try, but still have a week to switch to a different 2b, but if I can get lucky on the injury front, he and barney mac might be perfect in front of the mick and the lh slugging. sure wish reggie and yaz were still out there. don't suppose they're "available" right now have early wynn feeling very miscast, but looking forward to the road in baker and to keep dacelo's banks honest in yankee '27.

Where is Mforfun??? No sign of him in
13, you can create the league or any of you other Easterners
I had a hard time deciding whether to go pitching or hitting but I think I can optimize my good SPs with my ballpark and I can live with Greenberg's bad glove as my C, 2b,ss, cf and RF are all 1's...my thought in a 1,1,6,6 ballpark was to get a bunch of guys who walk and then a bunch of Xtra basehit guys to knock 'em in...we'll see how it works....Greenie, Haas, Dawson, Boggs all have 40+ Doubles and Powell was the best L handed hitter I could fit in my lineup~
Unfortunately all the good defensive caddies are taken by the 11th round though

[quote:5891fea167="Sneezedoc"]It seems to me that the 1,4,7, 10 is the victor here and I would like to use Munich Man's "progression" through the leagues....makes the most sense[/quote:5891fea167]

Seems like we are 1,4,7,10...from this earlier post. If this is the case, than I am in the EAST and I'm ready to enter if someone has started the league and has a password. If no one has started the league I don't mind doing so. Will check in later tonight to see what is going on...
