Soto has great batting #'s, but will probably be inj = 6, right?

toronto50 reminded us (in the draft thread) that we still have four months to go until the card set comes out, which is correct, of course.

On the other hand, sometimes the draft is the most enjoyable part of the season. The planning and anticipation are fun, too, all by themselves!

I made some rough calculations a while ago on DL days vs. injury rolls here. Soto had two 15 day DL stints so he will probably be an injury 3. (A-Rod had an injury 3 as it turns out.)

Odd that Dan would make his 5th pick but not his 6th at the same time. Color me befuddled.

3 SP's with my first 6 picks. I'm not happy! There is just nothing I like hitting wise that makes me think I can get a somewhat similar hitter in the later round.

Yea, we're getting into the area of hold your nose and hit submit if you drafting a hitter. Last year the MLB ERA avg. was 4.31. This year 4.07.

Not me! I'm very happy -- picked a hitting team the first time out, looking for a pitching one this time. Very pleased with starting rotation of:
Halladay
Weaver
Verlander
CJ Wilson
